According to the latest data from Indonesia's Ministry of Trade, Indonesia's total refined tin exports in December 2025 reached 5,002.83 tons, down 32.9% MoM but up 6.8% YoY. The total export value was $198.09 million, down 26.1% MoM but up 46.7% YoY.
Major export destinations showed divergence:
- Singapore: 1,399.5 tons, down 17% MoM;
- South Korea: 902.46 tons, down 53% MoM;
- China: 677.3 tons, up 17.6% MoM;
- India: 567.2 tons, up 2.6% MoM;
- Exports to other major destinations generally declined.
Indonesia's refined tin exports contracted overall in December. The progress of RKAB approvals and export policy developments in Indonesia for 2026 remain key factors affecting medium and long-term supply expectations. If quota issuance is delayed or tightened, it may further impact the global tin supply chain.
